September 15, 2011 Just as our Holy Father says "Follow Me", so too does our Bishop, Most Reverend David A. Zubik say "Follow Me" to many young men in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. We are very pleased to announce that we now have 41 young men discerning their calling to His Holy Priesthood as seminarians for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Seventeen are at St. Paul Seminary; two at St. Vincent's; four at St. Mary's in Baltimore; seven at the Theological College in Washington, DC and ten at the Pontifical North American College (PNAC) at the Vatican. There is also one in his Extended Pastoral year at St. Thomas more Parish in Upper St. Clair. By clicking on the cross near the bottom of this page you may gain access to the complete list of seminarians, their home parish and the seminary that they are attending. You can also download the complete details of the Diocese of Pittsburgh "Vocations Support Program"; the Council, Assembly, Circle Vocations questionnaire . We ask all units (Councils, Assemblies & Circles) to complete the questionnaire and return to me as soon as possible so that we may better serve our seminarians and do our best to equalize financial support to them as needed or recommended by the Rector. We are also pleased to announce that Brother Frank Peduto has agreed to serve as the Pittsburgh Chapter liaison for this very important ministry. Do not hesitate to contact myself or Frank if you have any questions, comments or concerns regarding vocations support. Vivat Jesus Joseph A. Cummings, PSD Addtional
